Position: Portfolio Manager, Swisscontact Nepal -1
Reports to Country Director
Purpose:
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of specific projects of Swisscontact Nepal. He/She will lead the development of Swisscontact's portfolio of new projects in Nepal and support the Country Director and the South Asia Regional Management Team to manage and further expand its portfolio in Nepal and the region.
Required Education and Experience: Advanced degree in management or any other relevant field. Experience of organizational development and a minimum of five years of experience in the field of Market Systems Development and/or Private Sector Development.
DFID's new Commercial Agriculture for Smallholders and Agribusiness (CASA) programme seeks to demonstrate the benefits of increased sustainable investment in agribusinesses with smallholder supply chains and enable the involvement of poorer smallholders in those supply chains. In contributing to Inclusive and sustainable economic growth, the programme must create decent jobs, catalyze sustainable improvements in incomes for female and male smallholder farmers and contribute to food and nutrition security, gender equality and climate change resilience.
Position: Market Manager (CAM) -1
Reports to: Country Manager, CAM, Nepal
Purpose:
The Market Manager will be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of his/her assigned sector, in terms of strategic direction, reporting, budgeting, Impact measurement, and knowledge management.
Required Education and Experience: Advanced degree in management or any other relevant field, a minimum of five years of experience in the field of Market System Development and/or Private Sector Development.
Position: Finance Officer (CASA)-1
Reports to: Country Manager, CAM, Nepal
Purpose:
The Finance Officer, under the supervision of the Country Manager, will ensure smooth functioning of CASA through proper planning, implementation, coordination and controlling of accounting and finance functions of the project in accordance with Swisscontact's rules and regulations including donor's requirements.
Required Education and Experience: A Chartered Accountant preferred, or at least Bachelor's in Business Administration with the concentration in accounting or finance. At least 3 to 4 years work experience in accounting/finance field, preferably in the development cooperation field with donor agencies.
Duty station: Swisscontact Country Office, Kupondole, Lalitpur.
