With an incredible return Liverpool reaches to the finals of the Champions League Football. In the second leg of semifinals on Tuesday, Liverpool defeated Barcelona to make an aggregate 4-3 comeback to enter the finals. Divock Origi & Georginio Wijnaldum both scored two goals each for Liverpool at Anfield Stadium.
Divock Origi started the revival of Liverpool, as he nets home from close range after seven minutes making a goal's lead for the first half. Georginio Wijnaldum came off the bench at half-time because of a knock to Andrew Robertson and took up position in central midfield. Every thing for Barcelona then turned with Wijnaldum’s 122 seconds warning. Wijnaldum scored twice in the space of 2.02 minutes. He gave Liverpool it's second and the third one for the night netting the goals at 54 & 57 minutes respectively. Barcelona were rattled, they couldn't coupe with the pace of Liverpool. Liverpool had it's winning goal at 79th minutes as Divock Origi bagged home the fourth goal of the night and his second for the match. Liverpool overcame an unimaginable deficit to overthrow Barcelona 4-0(aggregate 4-3) reaching the finals of the Champions League Football.
While La Liga's current champions suffered their heaviest-ever defeat against an English side in all European competitions, Liverpool have reached their ninth European Cup/Champions League final. This was just the fourth time a team has overturned a three-or-more goal deficit from the first leg of a Champions League.
