Manchester City squashed Watford 6-0 in the FA Cup final on Saturday to become the first team to win the English treble of Premier League and both domestic League cups this season. In the event at the Wembley Stadium, City defeated Watford 6-0 for which Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling scored two goals each while David Silva & Kevin de Bruyne both gave a goals contribution in sealing the victory.
David Silva struck goal the opener at 26 minutes for Manchester City. While Gabriel Jesus doubled the score at 36 minutes. City doubled scored before half against Watford. Kevin de Bruyne came off the bench to make it 3-0 for Watford in the 61 minute. Gabriel Jesus bagged his second goal for the match while City got it's fourth goal for the match just seven minutes after Kevin de Bruyne trashed the ball into the opponents net. While the stadium screamed and cried the City's name, Raheem Sterling scored twice in the final 10 minutes and sealed the match for Manchester City netting two goals brilliantly in 81' & 87 minutes respectively to make it a vast difference of 6-0 against Watford.
With this, Manchester City celebrated the domestic treble and a record while they lifted the FA cup. It was City's sixth FA Cup triumph. Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) was awarded the man of the match. City have scored 26 goals in the 2018-19 FA Cup - the most by a team in a single season in the competition since Charlton hit 29 and Derby scored 37, both in 1945-46. City are just the fourth team to win both major domestic cup competitions in the same season - after Arsenal in 1992-93, Liverpool in 2000-01 and Chelsea in 2006-07.
