Job Title: Head-Accounts & Finance Department
Job Description:
As a Head of Accounts and Finance Department, the successful candidate will have a pivotal role in the financial management of a leading national-level finance company in Nepal. The job responsibilities include:
- Providing and interpreting financial information for statutory and strategic decision-making procedures.
- Formulating strategic and long-term financial plans with the credit and operation department.
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk for the company.
- Managing the financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems of the company.
- Liaising with auditors and central bank inspection teams to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts such as auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations like the Inland Revenue and Nepal Rastra Bank.
- Preparing operational and risk reports for management analysis.
- Overseeing internal control functions, including reviewing the annual work plans and budgets and presenting potential new areas of risk.

Minimum Requirements:
To be eligible for the position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Qualified Accountants (CA) with a minimum Bachelor's degree in management or an equivalent degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to post-graduates in management studies along with CA.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in related areas of banks and financial institutions such as financial management and risk management.
- Knowledgeable about Central Bank Directives and Financial Reporting Standards.
- Age not exceeding 40 years in case of male and 45 years in case of female as of the first date of vacancy published.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Strong communications (English & Nepali) and interpersonal skills.
