1. Research Associate
Job Description: The responsibility of the position is to plan, conduct and manage research and data of Banking and Financial Sector.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct context analysis of Nepalese Banking Industry and Financial Sector.
- Conduct primary and secondary research of Banking Industry.
- Examine and Validate the accuracy of acquired research data.
- Interpret various data and write a report based on it.
- Prepare proposals and comparative report analysis.
- Prepare reports and presentation to provide insight on data to facilitate policy dialogue.
- Prepare Financial Analysis on the basis of acquired data.
- Coordinate with other research institutions and build cordial relationship.
- Conduct any other additional duties handed time-to-time by the ED.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum Master’s degree in Management/ Economics/Finance or similar degree.
- Minimum 2 year of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of financial sector.
- Excellent computing skills.
- Knowledge of SPSS/Stata or similar software.
- Good time management skills and ability to accomplish works within strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Associate Coordinator
Job Description: The responsibility of the position is to conduct and manage different NBA Committees; support in conducting Programs and Activities of the Association.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing meetings of NBA Committees and Sub-Committees.
- Schedule meetings and conduct follow-up as required.
- Prepare Minutes/Reports of the NBA Sub-Committee Meeting.
- Ensure the focal contact details of various Committees are updated.
- Support to conduct programs/activities of the Association.
- Play active role in organizing events, activities, campaigns.
- Develop network with member banks and external institutions.
- Conduct any other additional duties handed time-to-time by the ED.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or similar degree.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of banking industry preferred.
- Proficient in all MS-Office applications.
- Good time management skills and ability to accomplish works within strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Candidates holding two-wheeler license will be given priority.
