Gyanmandu:
Nepalese U-16 cricket team has announced for the U-16 Eastern Regional Cricket Championship. Nepal has declared 14 men Nepali team for the tournament to be hosted in Thailand. Nepal has announced the team in the captainship of the Bishal Bikram KC. The team also has four alternative players. Championship will be from April 20 to 28. Nepalese team will go to Thailand on Thursday.
Nepal will also compete against Myanmar in the first match on April 20 from the group 'A'. There are two other teams, the host Thailand and Malaysia in Group A. Nepal standing as the winner of the match, will play against Malaysia on April 24 & finally play with Thailand on April 25.
The group 'B' has the members from Hong Kong, Singapore, Bhutan and China.The top two teams of the tournament played, will make space in the semifinals. Nepal defeated Singapore by 71 runs in the previous championship.
