Honor X5c and X5c Plus Launched in Nepal

Honor has officially introduced its new budget smartphones, the Honor X5c and the Honor X5c Plus, in Nepal today. The latest entry-level lineup focuses on delivering large displays, reliable battery life, and practical everyday performance at an affordable price point. With competitive pricing in the budget segment, Honor is targeting students and first-time smartphone buyers in the Nepali market.

Both smartphones feature a 6.74 - inch HD+ TFT LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and a better viewing experience compared to standard 60Hz panels in this price range. The chipset used in these devices is MediaTek Helio G81 processor which is paired with 4GB RAM. The Honor X5c comes with 64GB of internal storage, while the Honor X5c Plus doubles it to 128GB. Storage expansion via microSD card is supported on both models. On the software front, the phones boot with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, bringing updated features and system optimization.

In terms of Camera, the Honor X5c features a 13MP primary rear camera alongside a secondary QVGA sensor. The X5c Plus upgrades the main camera to a 50MP sensor, making it the more appealing choice for users prioritizing photography. Both devices include a 5MP front-facing camera placed in a teardrop notch for selfies and video calls. Keeping everything running is 5,260mAh battery with 15W wired charging support and the charging adapter is included in the box.

The Honor X5c and X5c Plus offer a side - mounted fingerprint scanner, dual - SIM 4G connectivity, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C support. With a slim 7.89mm body and 186g weight, the phones aim to balance modern design with practicality. Honor has priced the X5c at NPR 15,999 and the X5c Plus at NPR 17,999 in Nepal, making them relatively strong contenders in the budget category for 2026.
