Australia defended 272 to beat India by 35 runs in the fifth and final ODI in Delhi to win the series 3-2. Australia lost the first two games but bounced back to claim the next three. The final game of the ODI series game on wednesday at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi Australia wining the toss optioned for batting first.
Australia willing to bat first were able to set a target of 273 runs with the loss of 9 wickets. Australia were powered by Usman Khawaja's 100 in 106 balls. Bhuvaneshwor Kumar From India struck down 3 wickets whereas Mohammad Shami and Rabindra Jadeja both took 2-2 wickets each for team India. For India, Rohit Sharma top scored with 56 but lost wickets regularly, making the run of 237 runs with the loss of every player. Adam Zampa took 3 wickets for Australia along with Pat Cummins, Jhye Richardson & Marcus Stoinis all struck down 2 wickets each.
